Sealed on the outside, but bisque on the inside. When filled with water, a water line appears on the outside of the vase. We recommend using this piece for botanicals that dry gracefully without water, or as an objet d'art in its own right.

We've always admired the Tadelakht plaster treatment on the walls of riads and hammams in Morocco. On our last trip, we visited a ceramics studio and watched these lovely small pieces being made by hand. A lime based plaster is applied bit by bit and heated with a small flame until the entire exterior is covered with the beautiful, lustrous finish that feels like natural stone. Each piece is a little work of art.
