This lovely piece lived part of its life in a Paris gallery. Before that, it was hand made for daily work in a north African village for ordinary activities—cooking, eating, talking, or working close to the ground. The small size made it easy to carry and durable for outdoor use. The finish has been polished and smoothed with time and use. It's a treasure.
